Early Adopter: Be One of the Few to Explore Iran by Private Train

Home to one of the world’s oldest civilizations, Iran has been inspiring travelers everywhere with its elaborately decorated architecture, fascinating archaeological sites, and gracious, hospitable people. It’s a favorite destination of MIR clients and staff – and one of the best ways to admire this remarkable country is by private train, rolling from one magnificent place to another in comfort and class.

Only Available Since 2014The election of Iran’s moderate president, Hassan Rouhani, in 2013, initiated an uptick in investment in tourism, which included issuing permits for western private trains to cross the borders for the first time, traveling on the existing tracks. These private trains are encouraging more travelers to make the trip to Iran via the comfortable efficiency of rail travel.
