MIR’s Best of 2016! Your Favorites From Our Blog, Facebook, Instagram & YouTube

2016 has been an incredible year for MIR! Not only did we celebrate our 30th year of providing imaginative and award-winning tours to fascinating destinations at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, but this year also coincided with two other historic occasions for us: the centennial anniversary of the completion of the Trans-Siberian Railway and the 25th anniversary of the collapse of the Soviet Union

To help commemorate these milestone achievements, and, of course, to celebrate the unbridled enthusiasm we have for our destinations, we created more blog stories, and posts, and videos than ever before, introducing you to the wonders of Iran, the adventurous spirit of Siberia, the heart and soul of the Silk Road, and more.

Thousands of clicks, likes, and shares later, the response from our fans has been overwhelming! We’re grateful that there are so many intrepid travelers who are open to discovery and share our passion for our chosen off-the-beaten-path corner of the world.

Here’s a look back at some of your favorites from our:
