See Kamchatka, one of the world’s wildest landscapes, with MIR Corporation

The Kamchatka Peninsula, located in Russia’s northeastern extreme, is one of the wildest places on earth, with abundant flora and fauna, the most varieties of Pacific salmon in its waters, an active ring of volcanoes, and a multitude of sea birds skirting its shores. Only a few hundred miles away from Alaska’s Aleutian Islands as the crow flies, Kamchatka is the home of the “Valley of the Geysers,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site accessible only by helicopter that boasts around 90 steaming geysers and hot springs. The Valley was partially destroyed by mudslides in June 2007, and though reports initially estimated the Valley to be over 11% destroyed, it has since recovered well. Read More
